Business Description
Brostrom AB. The Group's principal activity is shipping of oil and industrial chemical products. The Group operates through two business segments Shipping and Marine & Logistics Services. The Shipping operational area consists of three business units: Tanker Shipping, Ship Management and Bulk Shipping. The Marine & Logistics Services operational area comprises four business units: Bulk Logistics, Ship Agencies and Oil Supplies. The Group's fleet consist of 78 modern product and chemical tankers. The overall deadweight is 1.7 million dwt. 98% of the Group's fleet has double hulls. The average age of fleet is 7.2 years. Among the largest customers belong BP, Chevron Texaco, Ecofuel, Exxon Mobil, Lukoil, Methanex, Shell, Statoil, Total.The Group discontinued Travel Agency business in 2006.
