Business Description
Q-Med Ab. The Group's principal activities are manufacturing, marketing and selling of medical implants based on the company's patented technology NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) to physicians, clinics and institutions. The Group operates in the following segments: Esthetics, Hospital healthcare and Development projects. The Esthetics segment manufactures products for the filling out of wrinkles and for the contouring of lips using Restylane. The Hospital healthcare segment manufactures products, which include ZUIDEX for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women,DEFLUX for the treatment of VUR (a malformation of the urinary bladder in children) and DUROLANE for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee and hip.
