Biotage AB. The Group's principal activities are to provide complete solutions, knowledge and experience in the areas of genetic analysis and medicinal chemistry. The operations are carried out through two segments; Biosystems and Discovery Chemistry. Biosystems develops, produces and markets systems for fast and accurate genetic analysis based on the Group's patented technology, Pyrosequencing TM, a method for DNA sequencing. Biosystems technology helps the genetic researcher to increase knowledge of the genetic make-up of humans and organisms. Furthermore Biosystems provides an extensive software for the Biotage purification system. Discovery Chemistry develops, manufactures and markets systems, knowledge products and consumables that speed up the medicinal chemist's possibilities to develop new active substances that become the medicines of the future. The Company has sales offices and distribution partners in Europe, Japan, the United States and Rest of the World.
