Business Description
Comet Holding AG. The Group's principal activities are the manufacturing and selling variable vacuum capacitors. The Group's activities are carried out through two divisions: Electronics and Communication and Security and Inspection. Microelectronics and Life Sciences division manufactures Vacuum capacitors. The Security and Inspection division supplies components and modules for Industrial X-Ray applications. The Group's activities are located in Switzerland, Rest of Europe, North America, Asia and Other Countries. On January 1, 2008, the four German subsidiaries - YXLON International Feinfocus GmbH, YXLON International Group Holding GmbH, YXLON International X-Ray GmbH and YXLON International CT Development GmbH - were merged and then renamed YXLON International GmbH, With effect from November 11, 2008, the remaining four foreign subsidiaries of YXLON International GmbH were sold to COMET HOLDING AG. All Group companies are thus held directly by COMET HOLDINGAG.
