Business Description
Migros Ticaret AS Formerly known as Migros Turk T.A.S.. The Group's principal activities are retail sale of food and beverages, consumer products and durable goods through shopping centres and a chain of stores. It also rents floor space in the shopping malls to other trading companies. Besides the Migros brand name, it also operates a chain of stores under Tansas, Sok, Ramstore and Macrocenter brands. The Group also provides online, telephone and catalogue shopping and delivering services for products such as cell phones, furniture, televisions, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers and washing machines. The Group operates internationally in the Russian Federation, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. As on 31-Dec-2008, the Group has 1,191 stores.
