Business Description
Tat Konserve Sanayii A.S.(TAT). The Group's principal activities are production, marketing and distribution of tomato paste and puree, pepper paste, roasted peppers, peeled and diced tomatoes, ketchup, mayonnaise, jam, pickles, canned, boiled and frozen foods, pickled mushrooms, spring water, tomato juice and powdered juice mixes, as well as tin cans and covers required for packaging. The Group mainly operates in four segments: Tomato paste and Conservatives, Milk and Diary products, Meat and meat products and Spaghetti and Flour products. It has seven factories in Kocaeli, Gemlik, Eskisehir, Bursa, Balikesir, Manisa and Izmir. The Group exports its products to 73 countries throughout the world. Its tomato products are used in worldwide fast food chains such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Arby's. It is a Koc Holding company, and has partnerships with Japanese Kagome and Sumitomo firms.
