Akmerkez Gayrimenkul AS. The Group's principal activity is a real estate investment partnership, operating shopping mall, Akmerkez Alisveris Merkezi (Akmerkez), in Etiler, Istanbul. The Akmerkez complex comprises a shopping area, office space and a residential area. With its 246 shops, Akmerkez provides women's, men's and children's clothing, stationery, toys, sports goods, shoes, eyewear and gift shops, along with restaurants, movie theatres, hair saloons, banks, a currency exchange office, electronic goods, orthopedic goods, car accessories, shoe shine services, a tailor, a pet shop and a supermarket. Thirty-three percent of the shops are international chains and brands, including Zara, Ramsey and Stefanel. The mall is a joint venture of Akkok, Tekfen and Istikbal Groups.
