The Group's principal activity is holding company, established as a media-entertainment conglomerate, active in the newspaper, magazine and book publishing, television and radio broadcasting, printing and news media sectors through its subsidiaries. It operates in four main segments: Publishing, Broadcasting, Retail and Other. Its publishing and broadcasting products include 27 magazines, seven daily newspapers, four national and five international television stations, 12 thematic and two interactive television channels and three radio stations. It operates 12 websites designed for various purposes, and offers digital services. The Group is active in the retail and marketing sectors through D&R and Yaysat, which distributes the holding's products. It is also involved in foreign trade, factoring and mortgage services. The Group holds international partnerships with companies such as AOL-Time Warner, the Universal Music Group and Burda GmbH.
