Business Description
KORDSA Kord Bezi San. Ve T.A.S.(KORDSA). The Group's principal activity is manufacturing and supply of industrial yarn and fabrics that serves the tire, webbing, ropes and cordage markets. It operates in four main segments: Nylon Yarn, Polyester Yarn, Fabric and Other. The Group's products include tire cord fabrics, which are used in bicycle tires, air springs and all other tire types; single end cords that are made of nylon, polyester, aramid, rayon and other yarns; mechanical rubber goods, such as conveyor belt and chafer fabrics and polypropylene liners, and nylon and polyester yarns for industrial applications. It has 12 manufacturing sites located in 10 countries, including China, Egypt, Indonesia, Germany and Brazil. The Group's operates mainly in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, South America and Asia. It is a subsidiary of Sabanci Holding.
