Business Description
Lafarge Aslan Cimento. The Group's principal activities are manufacturing, sale and distribution of construction materials. It operates in two main segments: Cement, Ready Mix Concrete. It has one cement production facility in Darica and one operated by its affiliate Lafarge Van Cimento A.S., as well as a grinding mill located in Eregli, operated by Lafarge Eregli Cimento A.S. Darica cement facility manufactures products under three brands; Aslan, Karat and Cementum. It has a production capacity of 1,250,850 tons of clinker and 2,700,000 tons of ready-made cement per year. The Group's other subsidiaries include Lafarge Beton A.S., active in the manufacture of concrete, and Assan Ins. San. Tic. A.S., engaged in aggregate production. It is a Lafarge Group company.
