AK Enerji Electrik Uretim. The Group's principal activity is to produce electrical energy and steam. It operates in a single segment. The Group's activities include production, transfer, distribution, purchase and sales of electrical energy and to establish plants to serve such purposes and to realize local wholesale activities related to electrical energy and/or capacity with respect to the electrical energy legislation. The Group transmits the electricity generated to its customers either directly from the Akenerji bus bar through direct lines or via national interconnection systems (TEIAS/TEDAS lines), whereas heat energy is supplied directly through pipelines.
