Business Description
Nuh Cimento. The Group's principal activities are production and supply of cement, clinker, ready-mixed concrete and allied products. It operates in two main segments: Construction Materials and Energy. The Group produces various types of cement, including Portland cement, Portland-composite cement, Pozzolanic cement, which is cement obtained by grinding Portland cement clinker and additive materials, and sulfate-resistant cement. The Company is involved in the operation of a 60-megawatt power plant, which supplies power to the Company's production facilities. It owns a private port in Kocaeli, which allows imports and exports via ships of up to 80,000 deadweight tons. The port is equipped with an automatic ship loading system directly connected to its plant, as well as a multi-purpose discharge crane. It exports mainly to Western Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America.
