Business Description
Sekerbank T.A.S.. The Group's principal activities are providing a range of individual and corporate banking services. Individual banking services include credit cards, risk management and investment advisory, whereas corporate banking encompasses credit and other treasury services for corporate finance. It also offers Internet and telephone banking services, as well as countrywide automated teller machines. As of December 31, 2008, the Bank had 250 domestic branches and 10 regional directorates, a representative office in Germany and an off-shore bank in North Cyprus. The Group has business partnerships with over 500 banks internationally, and is active in the sugar, trade, finance, agricultural feed and mining sectors through its subsidiaries. It holds controlling shareholdings in a number of banks, financial institutions and companies, such as Seker Leasing, Seker Yatirim, Sekerbank Off-Shore, Seker Bilisim Sanayi, Sekerbank (Kibris) Limited A.S. and Seker Factoring.
