Business Description
Aberdeen Growth VCT 1 PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long term capital appreciation, principally through investment in fast growing unlisted and AIM quoted companies in the United Kingdom. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988. Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 2.5% per annum of the gross assets of the Company at the previous quarter end. The agreement is terminable by either party on the expiry of one year's notice.
