Business Description
Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to invest in securities of European companies and in sectors or geographical areas which are considered by the investment manager to offer good prospects for capital growth, taking into account economic trends and business development. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-May-2007.Investment management services are provided by Jupiter Asset Management Ltd for a quarterly fee of 0.1875% of the net assets of the Group. The agreement is terminable by either party by not less than one years' notice.
