Business Description
Brunner Investment Trust PLC (The). The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide growth in capital value and dividends over the long term through investing in a portfolio of the United Kingdom and international securities. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Part VIII of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Nov-2007.Investment management services are provided by RCM (UK) Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.45% per annum of the value of the assets after deduction of current liabilities, short term loans under one year and other funds managed by RCM. The agreement is terminable by either party on not less than six months' notice.
