Business Description
Dunedin Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve a long term growth from a portfolio of smaller companies in the United Kingdom. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-October-2007. The Investment Management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited for a fee of 0.4% per annum of adjusted gross assets. There is also a performance-related management fee calculated at a rate of 0.1% per annum (up to a maximum of 0.5% per annum) of the adjusted gross assets for every 1.0% by which the Company's net asset value performance outperforms the capital performance of the benchmark index over the previous 12 month period. The agreement is terminable by either party on three months' notice.
