Business Description
JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust PLC Formerly known as JPMorgan Fleming Japanese Investment Trust plc. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve capital growth from Japanese investments. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Sep--2007.Investment management services are provided by JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Ltd for a fee calculated at a rate of 0.65% per annum on the Company's net assets up to 465m, 0.485% on the next 465m to 930 million and 0.40% thereafter. The agreement is terminable in six months' notice, without penalty.
