Business Description
JPMorgan European Investment Trust Plc Formerly known as JPMorgan Fleming Continental European Investment Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve capital growth from Continental European investments, by consistent out-performance of the benchmark and a rising share price over the longer term by taking carefully controlled risks through an investment method that is clearly communicated to shareholders. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust in accordance with Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007. Investment management services are provided by JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Ltd for a fee calculated at 0.45% per annum on assets less current liabilities payable monthly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by one year's notice.
