Business Description
Murray International Trust P.L.C.. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve a total return greater than its benchmark by investing predominantly in equities worldwide. Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.5% per annum of the value of total assets, less unlisted investments and all current liabilities excluding monies borrowed to finance the investment objectives of the Company, averaged over the six previous quarters. The agreement may be terminated by either party on the expiry of one year's written notice. Its portfolio consisted of 67 equity and 11 bond holdings. Operations are carried out in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Europe, Japan, Asia and other emerging markets.
