Business Description
Shires Income p.l.c.. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group is to provide for shareholders a high level of income together with growth of both income and capital from a portfolio substantially invested in the United Kingdom equities. The Group is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Group has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.45% for funds up to 100 million and 0.40% for funds over 100 million. The agreement is terminable by either party on one year's notice.
