Business Description
Volex Group PLC. The Group's principal activity is producing electronic and fibre optic cable assemblies and electrical power cords. The Group's operations are carried out through three divisions. Power Products designs, produces and supplies a range of fully approved plugs suitable for a variety of markets including computer and office equipment, white goods, brown goods, floor care, power tools, small appliances, general equipment, lighting and medical equipment. Interconnect produces industry standard cable assemblies, radio frequency cable assemblies, high speed matched impedance cable assemblies and fiber optic cable assemblies. Wiring Harness produces multi-drop harnesses used in commercial vehicles and aerospace applications. This division also manufactures wiring harnesses for computer and industrial markets. The Group operates in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Philippines.
