Business Description
Value and Income Trust P.L.C.. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group specialising in higher yielding, less fashionable areas of the United Kingdom commercial property and quoted equity markets, particularly in medium and smaller sized companies. The objective of the Group is to achieve a long term real growth in dividends and capital values without undue risk. The Group is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Group has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by OLIM Ltd for a quarterly fee of 1/6% of the Value and Investment Trust Group of Companies' total assets less current liabilities. The agreement is terminable by either party on a one year's notice.
