Business Description
ProVen Growth and Income VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company are to achieve a total return significantly greater than that available from direct investment in quoted businesses by investing in a portfolio of carefully selected smaller companies with excellent growth prospects, to minimise the risk of each investment and the portfolio as a whole and to obtain and maintain Venture Capital Trust Status (VCT) in order to secure the substantial tax benefits available for investments in a VCT. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust. Investment management services are provided by Beringea Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 2.0% per annum of the Ordinary Share net assets and the C Shares net assets per annum (excluding VAT). The agreement is terminable by either party at any time by one year's prior written notice.
