Business Description
Capital Gearing Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve capital growth in absolute terms principally through investment in qouted closed ended investment and other collective investment vehicles, invested in equities or property, with a willingness to hold cash, bonds, index linked securities and commodities when appropriate. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 05-Apr-2007.Investment management services are provided by CG Asset Management Ltd for a fee equal to 0.85% per annum of the gross assets of the Company based on quarterly valuations and payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable on 12 months' notice.
