Avon Rubber p.l.c.. The Group's principal activities are designing and manufacturing respiratory protection products for defence, police, fire and other emergency services together with the design and manufacture of a range of polymer based products. It operates in two segments: Protection and Defence, consists of a range of respiratory protection products and various specialist engineered fabrications. It consist of a range of products, most of important of which are respirators or gas masks such as S10, FM12, M50, C50 and M53. Dairy, manufactures and sells products used in the automated milking process, primarily rubber such as liners and tubing. These products ensure product hygiene, animal welfare and maximise performance. The products are manufactured for major original equipment manufacturers as well as being sold under the Milk-Rite brands. The Compan sold its aerosol gasket business in March 2008.
