Business Description
INVESCO Asia Trust plc. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide long-term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of Asian and Australasian Companies. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Apr-2007.Investment management services are provided by Invesco Asset Management Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.75% per annum of the value of the Company's total assets less current liabilities (excuding any short-term borrowings) under management at the end of relevant quarter. The agreement is terminable by either party by giving not less than six month's written notice.
