Albion Technology & General VCT PLC Formerly known as Close Technology & General VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to offer its investors the opportunity to participate in a balanced portfolio of technology and non-technology businesses. The Company is no longer an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company revoked its Investment Company status on 21-Sep-2004 in order for the Company to pay dividends from realised capital profits. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as an Venture Capital Trust in accordance with Part 6of the Income Taxes Act 2007. Investment management services are provided by Albion Ventures LLP (Albion Ventures).
