EMAP Plc. The Group's principal activities is that of a media company. The Group's operations are carried out through its Consumer Magazines, Business-to-Business, Radio, Consumer International and TV. Consumer Magazines and International publishes a portfolio of consumer magazines principally in the United Kingdom and France, but it also has titles in Australia, the United States and South Africa along with operating licenses for FHM and other titles around the world. Business-to-Business comprises business magazines, events and information products. Events include trade exhibitions, festivals, conferences and awards. Information products focus on retail, construction, public sector, media and automotive. Radio assets comprise 40 local and 8 national stations. TV comprises 7 digital music channels. During 2007, the Group acquired the entire share capital AME Info FZ-LLC, Trades Exhibitions Ltd and Yospace Technologies Ltd.
