Business Description
Artemis AIM VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long-term capital and income growth and to generate tax-free capital and income distribution. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income & Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Jan-2007.Investment management services are provided by Artemis Investment Management Ltd for an annual fee (exclusive of VAT) of 2% of the value of the Company's net assets payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party on giving twelve months' notice.
