Business Description
Baronsmead VCT 3 PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long-term capital growth and generate tax-free dividends for private investors. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act for the year ended 31-Dec-2006. Investment management services are provided by ISIS EP LLP for a fee equal to 2.5% of the value of the total assets less current liabilities of the Company payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party giving twelve months notice. The Company invests in a range of securities including, ordinary and preference shares, loan stocks, convertible securities, and fixed-interest securities as well as cash. The total portfolio comprised 74 investee companies. There were fifteen new investments.
