Business Description
Albion Income & Growth VCT PLC Formerly known as Close Income & Growth VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust Company. The objective of the Company is to provide investors with a regular and predictable source of income combined with the prospect of longer term capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Sep-2006. Investment management services are provided by Close Venture Management Ltd for a fee of 2.5% of the net asset value of the Company payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement may be terminated by either party on 12 months notice. As of 30-Sep-2008, the Company's portfolio companies, include the Evolutions Television Ltd, Chichester Holdings Ltd, Blackbay Ltd, Kensington Health Clubs Ltd, Clear Pub Company VCT Limited, Bravo Inns Ltd etc.
