Business Description
Devro plc. The Group's principal activity is producing and marketing manufactured casings for the food industry. It manufactures a range of collagen casings at seven production plants in the United Kingdom, Australia, the Czech Republic and the United States, providing collagen products for the food industry. The Group also supplies a range of products and technical support to manufacturers of sausages, salami, hams and other cooked meats. Its main focus is edible collagen-based products. It manufactures and sells brands of collagen casings such as Devro, Coria, Edicol and Cutisin. It also distributes products comprising Teepak cellulose, Krehalon plastics and other ancilliary products. The Group's other products include collagen film and collagen gel.
