Business Description
National Express Group PLC. The Group's principal activity is providing mass passenger transport services. It operates in four segments includes; UK Bus; UK Coach; UK Trains and Inter-segment. Inter-segment includes North American Bus and European Coach and Bus. UK Train business provides a range of intercity, commuter and rural passenger train services and train maintenance operation. This division provides high-frequency local train services in the East and West Midlands and long-distance services between the Midlands, East Anglia, North West and the East Coast. UK Bus division offers high-frequency urban bus services operating primarily in Birmingham and across the West Midlands and Dundee-Scotland. Coach business offers integrated network of scheduled and contracted coach services in three business segments - shuttle, airport and European coaching. The Group also has coach and bus operations throughout Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
