Business Description
SVM UK Emerging Fund PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long term capital growth from investments in smaller United Kingdom companies with a particular focus on the Alternative Investment Market. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by SVM Asset Management Ltd for a fee calculated at 0.825% per annum of the total assets of the the fund less current liabilities payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable without compensation at any time by giving one year's notice or an immediate payment of a year's fees in lieu of notice.
