Business Description
GTL Resources Plc. The Group's principal activities are constructing, commissioning and subsequent operating its Rochelle ethanol plant, and evaluating further ethanol projects including primarily the expansion of the Rochelle facility. The production process is done through a dry-milling facility, where ethanol is produced by the yeast fermentation of corn feedstock and subsequent distillation and dehydration to remove water and by-products to produce pure (200 proof) ethanol. The corn feedstock is milled to flour, mixed with water and dosed with enzymes to convert the starches to sugars.
