Business Description
SVM UK Active Fund PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve superior returns by actively managing a portfolio of principally in the United Kingdom listed companies that offer attractively priced growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by SVM Asset Management Ltd for a fee, payable quarterly in arrears, equivalent to 0.75% (plus VAT) per annum of the Company's total assets less current liabilities. The agreement is terminable by either party, without compensation, at any time by giving one year's notice of termination or an immediate payment of a year's fee in lieu of notice.
