Business Description
Spark VCT 3 PLC Formerly known as Quester VCT 5 PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust . The objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with an attractive income and capital return enhanced by tax benefits, by investing in a diverse portfolio consisting largely of unqouted investments. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988.Investment management services are provided by Spark Venture Management Ltd for a fee calculated monthly at the rate of 2.5% on the Company's net assets payable quarterly in advance. The agreement is terminable by either party by twelve months' notice period.
