Business Description
Stobart Group Limited Formerly known as Westbury Property Fund Limited. The Group's principal activity is providing Multimodal transport and logistics solutions operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe. The Group's operation are carried out through two segments, Contract logistic and Investment property. Contract logistic comprises road transport, rail freight and sea services, distribution and warehousing, rail freight terminal and port services and property rental. Investment property comprises commercial investment property in associate and joint venture undertakings which are classified as held for sales and is in the process of being actively marketed for sale. On 21 September 2007, the Group acquired the entire voting rights of Stobart Holdings Ltd and O'Connor Group Management Ltd. On 23 March 2007 acquired the entire voting rights of AHC (Warehousing) Ltd. On 04 April 2007, the Group acquired the entire voting rights of James & Sons Ltd and WA Developments Ltd.
