Business Description
Charter European Trust Plc Formerly known as Charter Pan-European Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with growth in capital and income through investment in a diversified portfolio of pan-European equities, which includes securities of United Kingdom companies. The Company is not a close company. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Nov-2006.Investment management services are provided by RCM (UK) Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.5% per annum (plus VAT) calculated by reference to the net assets of the Company payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party with notice of not less than twelve months.
