Business Description
Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust Plc Formerly known as Gartmore Asia Pacific Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to generate capital growth from a concentrated portfolio of companies domiciled, operating or generating revenue in the Asia Pacific region including Japan. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust under Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Ltd for a fee calculated monthly in arrears at 0.75% per annum of total assets less current liabilities other than borrowings for the purposes of investment. The agreement is terminable by six months' notice given by either party.
