Business Description
Strategic Equity Capital PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve absolute returns rather than relative returns over a medium-term period, principally through capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Jun-2006.Investment management services are provided by SVG Investment Managers Ltd for a calculated fee at the rate of 1% of the net asset value of the Company together with an amount equal to any VAT thereon. The basic management fee accrues daily and is payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party giving twelve months' notice in writing.
