Business Description
Rensburg Aim VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with an attractive return on their investment over the longer term by paying dividends out of both income and where possible, realised capital profits. The Investment Company status was revoked to give the Company trading status which allows it to distribute realised capital gains and purchase its own shares by using a new reserve which was created on cancellation of the Company's share premium account. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust.Investment management services are provided by Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management Ltd for a fee calculated at 1.8% of the audited net assets of the Company at the year end plus the value of dividends paid during the year plus value added tax.
