Business Description
Albion Development VCT PLC Formerly known as Close Brothers Development VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The Company is no longer an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company revoked its investment trust status on 11-May-2005 in order to enable the Company to pay dividends from realised capital profits. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Dec-2006.Investment management services are provided by Close Venture Management Ltd for a fee calculated at 2.25% per annum (plus VAT) of the net asset value of the Company payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party on 12 months' notice.
