Business Description
Foresight VCT Plc Formerly known as Foresight Technology VCT plc. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide private investors with an attractive return from a portfolio of investments in fast-growing United Kingdom technology-based companies. The Company revoked its status as an Investment Company in March 2000. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as a Venture Capital Trust under Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988. Investment management services are provided by Foresight Venture Partners for an annual management fee of 2% of the net assets of the Company calculated and payable quarterly in advance together with any applicable VAT. The agreement is for an initial period of five years and thereafter until their appointment is terminated by not less than one year's notice in writing to expire at any time after the initial period.
