Business Description
Ortus VCT PLC Formerly known as Guinness Flight Venture Capital Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve longer term capital appreciation and generate maintainable levels of income for shareholders. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 28-Feb-2007.Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 2.0% per annum of the total assets less adjusted liabilities of the Company at the previous quarter end. The agreement is terminable by either party giving not less than twelve months' prior written notice.
