Business Description
F&C UK Select Trust Plc Formerly known as ISIS UK Select Trust Plc. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve capital growth for ordinary shareholders by investing in a portfolio of United Kingdom equities with the potential for above average capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Dec-2005.Investment management services are provided by F&C Investment Business Ltd for a quarterly fee payable in advance of 0.1375% per quarter on the total assets less current liabilities of the Company. The agreement may be terminated, without compensation due, by either party giving not less than three months' notice.
