Business Description
Montanaro European Smaller Companies Trust Plc Formerly known as ISIS Smaller Companies Trust PLC. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group is to achieve capital growth by investing principally in European qouted smaller companies. The Group is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services is provided by Montanaro Investment Managers Ltd for a calculated fee at the rate of 1.0% per annum of the Group's market capitalisation (payable in monthly arrears). The agreement is terminable by either party by giving to the other not less than six months' notice.
