Business Description
M & G Equity Investment Trust P.L.C.. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide its package unitholders with an above average rate of capital appreciation and income growth with increasing dividends each year. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Jun-2006.Investment management services are provided by M&G Investment Management Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.75% per annum (plus VAT) of the mid-market value of the Company's total assets less its current liabilities payable monthly in advance. The agreement may be terminated by either party on one year's notice.
