Business Description
Mithras Investment Trust plc. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group is to achieve over the longer term a total return in excess of the FTSE All-Share Index with dividends reinvested. The Group is an Investment Company as defined by Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Dec-2007. Investment management services are provided by LGV Ltd for a quarterly fee payable in arrears, at rates varying between 0.5% per annum and 2% per annum of the values of the Group's assets, dependent upon the asset type. The agreement may be terminated by either party at not less than one year's notice without penalty.
